This was exciting: Tiki Barber's book signing booth was beside my booth at the recent Book Expo in New York!

It was such a treat to meet him, as he is one of my son's favorite pro football players and I have so admired his work as a correspondent for NBC's Today. Tiki retired from the NY Giants last year; his twin brother Ronde still plays for Tampa Bay. He and Ronde have written three books together; the most recent being "Kickoff."  This was the book Tiki was promoting at the Book Expo. It's written for middle school boys, and is an inspiring story that shows how the brothers' hard work, respect for their mother, and respect for their school work pays off for the pair of eight graders. They obviously kept up the good work, as both played football for and graduated from the University of Virginia AND both have had amazing success in professional football. Both are also married and have two children. No doubt they are terrific husbands and great dads!
